HOW TO FIND OUT THE VALUE OF LOGARITHM BASE 10.
a)Suppose you have a number 3.67 and you have a problem to find the log base 10 of that number.
log10 (3.67)
1.First check the value of first two digits in the third digit.
means we have to check it value ,the row of 36 corresponding in the column of 7.
we find 5647.
2.Put the point before the 5647 like 0.5647 this is the answer.
b)Suppose you have a number 36.7 and you have a problem to find the log base 10 of that number.
log10 (36.7)
1.first shift the point towards left like 3.67*10.
2.Use the formula log(A*B)=log(A)+log(B)
like log(3.67*10) = log(3.67) + log(10)
3.The value of log(3.67) is 0.5647 and the value of log(10) is 1.
so the answer is 0.5647 + 1 = 1.5647.
